Located behind Hwy 92 & Hwy 120 in Dallas, Georgia is a strawberry lovers dream! Harry Stacy planted over 15,000 stawberry plants (three varieties) in the fall of 2011. Around April 2012 these berries will be ready to pick, U-pick, to be exact! Always check our hours of operation before driving out, as picking conditions can rapidly change.

Chandler
Chandler strawberry plants are very popular with commercial growers because of their high yield, brilliant fruit color, and excellent flavor. Fruit size is medium to large and medium in firmness. Chandler plants are a vigorous, early, midseason variety and must be well supplied with water and nutrients. They do well throughout the winter and are often planted at pick-your-own farms.
| Sweet Charlie
Just like the name says. These berries taste like they have sugar on them fresh from the field. Sweet Charlie plants are vigorous, disease-resistant, and produce large firm fruit. Plants are medium in size making harvest easy. Sweet Charlie is an early season variety and generally produces 7 to 10 days earlier than Chandler strawberry plants. These berries are the smallest variety we grow, they are also lighter in color.
| Camarosa a high flavor berry is a firm, special variety, bright, full color with very strong skin and excellent sheen. Camarosa is prized for it's red interior and flavor. While rarely showing severe bruising is one of the most aromatic strawberries, famous among confectioners. It is known to be a special variety, very high shipping and shelf life ratings, a medium size berry it has been compared to a "native" type strawberry. Size is predominately medium to large early season, decreasing to very small by late season. These berries must be picked only when they are deep, deep red.
